Welcome to Suswana’s Grih!

I am thrilled to announce the launch of my very own art website, where I am showcasing my textured contemporary artworks for the very first time. It's been a long journey to get here, and I'm excited to share my passion for art with the world.

The word “Grih” means “Home” in my mother tongue. All my art works are created with love at my home studio, be it when my home was in Maryland, Missouri or California. Introducing my art works to you through my online gallery quite literally feels like sharing a piece of my home with you :)

I love my textures and my specializations are in aerial views, horses and Buddha. The focus of my website this time is my Earth series, which is a collection of vivid 3 dimensional aerial view artworks made with plaster, inks, sand, pumice, and resin. Each piece is a unique representation of the natural beauty of our planet, and I've put a great deal of care and attention to detail into creating them.

As an artist, I've always been fascinated by the textures and patterns that exist in nature. My goal with the Earth series is to capture these textures and patterns in a way that is both beautiful and thought-provoking. Each piece is a journey through a different part of our planet all of them having a mix of land and water.

One of the things that sets my art apart is the use of a variety of materials to create texture and depth. By incorporating plaster, inks, sand, pumice, and resin, I'm able to create a unique three-dimensional effect that draws the viewer in and creates a sense of immersion in the artwork.

My hope is that my art will inspire people to appreciate the natural world around them and to take action to protect it. As we face unprecedented challenges from climate change and environmental degradation, it's more important than ever to appreciate the beauty and fragility of our planet.

I invite you to explore my website and discover the beauty of my Earth series for yourself. Each piece is available for purchase, and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for supporting my art, and I look forward to sharing more of my creations with you in the future.
